My husband is a big Star Wars fan. I saw this fabric and knew that my son needed an outfit made out it. Here is what I came up with for our little Jedi.

Reglan shirt & knit pants

I have been sewing non-stop for my little lady for some time now. Today during nap time I made something for my little man. It was my first time working with knit fabrics. It was done on my regular sewing machine - as I am still saving for a serger.

It is from ottobre - it was designed to have snaps on one shoulder. When I tried it on him I realized it did not need them and a friend has my snap press right now - so I just sewed the seam. Also the sleeves are a little on as the pattern was for a long-sleeved shirt and I could not measure my little man because he was sleeping.

Men's Shirt to Toddler Dress

Here is my version of converting a men's shirt to a toddler dress.

The hem still needs to be finished and I think I am going to add a couple of darts in the back to give it a more fitted look. But right now my dd does not want to take it off. My inspiration was the tutorial on craftster: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=170402.0

Blue Quilted Purse

This purse was quilted using three fabrics on the outside and a aqua lining. There is a single pocket on the inside and it has a zipper closure on top.
